SD St. Marys Province had a small hospital attached with the local community of Karumalooor mainly for the poor people of the locality. By the appearance of the super specialty hospitals the relevance this small hospital gradually decreased and the province decided to terminate the hospital, and converted as an old age home for elderly women Since 11th feb 1987 as Nirmala Bhavan to give accommodation to the poor abandoned ladies in spite of cast &creed who are thrown out from their families& dear ones. Now it gives shelter to the old ladies & they find security, joy & peace in their last stage we try give them a joyful life to prepare them for a peaceful death.
